You own all your applications and data. SlikWeb delivers high-throughput hardware backed by our 99.999% SLA. Both parties operate under mutual standards of zero abuse, honest resource accounting, and robust security.
1. Agreement & Acceptance
By creating an account, deploying an instance, utilizing our APIs or CLI, or executing an enterprise order form with SlikWeb ("we", "us", or "our"), you ("Customer", "User", or "Organization") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity.
2. Account Security & Verification
To deploy cloud resources, you must register an account with accurate contact and billing details. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your administrative API tokens, SSH key pairs, and dashboard login credentials. You must notify SlikWeb immediately of any suspected unauthorized access or credential compromise.
3. Service Availability & 99.999% SLA Commitment
SlikWeb is engineered for extreme reliability across our global network fabric. We commit to a 99.999% Service Level Agreement (SLA) for core infrastructure, network transit, and physical host availability:
- SLA Credits: If monthly uptime falls below 99.999% due to an infrastructure outage within SlikWeb's direct control, eligible accounts may request service credits in accordance with our Enterprise SLA Schedule.
- Scheduled Maintenance: Routine updates, security patches, and network enhancements are announced at least 48 hours in advance and executed during off-peak maintenance windows with minimal disruption.
4. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
To preserve the security, integrity, and performance of our global mesh, you agree not to use SlikWeb infrastructure for any prohibited activities, including but not limited to:
- Launching Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, network stress testing without prior written authorization, or malicious port scanning.
- Operating botnets, command-and-control servers, malware distribution networks, or phishing domains.
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (SPAM) or engaging in email relay abuse violating international anti-spam legislation.
- Attempting unauthorized penetration, hypervisor escape, or lateral compromise of other tenant environments.
- Hosting child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or engaging in activities that violate applicable criminal laws.
Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate instance termination, network isolation, and referral to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
5. Billing, Subscriptions & Zero-Egress Storage
Infrastructure is billed on a subscription or pay-as-you-go metered basis as outlined on our pricing page and confirmed during provisioning:
- Subscription Plans: Starter, Premium, and Business plans are billed in advance on recurring monthly or annual billing cycles.
- Zero-Egress Object Storage: Zero-egress bandwidth terms apply to legitimate web and application traffic. High-bandwidth streaming and distribution must comply with fair-use and network transit caps specified in your plan.
- Invoicing & Taxes: Enterprise customers may request consolidated invoicing with NET-30 payment terms upon credit approval. Customers are responsible for applicable sales, VAT, or local excise taxes.
6. Shared Responsibility Model
Operating in the cloud relies on a clear division of operational security:
- SlikWeb Responsibility: Physical data center security, hardware maintenance, hypervisor integrity, power redundancy, and core transit network protection.
- Customer Responsibility: Guest operating system configuration, firewall rule management, application security, database backups, and key rotation.
7. Workload Ownership & Intellectual Property
You retain 100% intellectual property ownership and copyright over all code, databases, container images, AI models, and proprietary assets deployed on SlikWeb. SlikWeb claims no ownership rights over tenant data.
8. Suspension & Termination
You may cancel your subscription or delete instances at any time via the console or CLI. Upon instance deletion, allocated compute resources and attached storage are permanently de-provisioned. SlikWeb reserves the right to suspend accounts with past-due balances or those in active violation of our AUP.
9. Limitation of Liability & Warranty Disclaimer
Except as expressly guaranteed in our written Enterprise SLA, services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. In no event shall SlikWeb's aggregate liability exceed the total amount paid by the customer to SlikWeb in the twelve (12) months preceding the incident.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws applicable to commercial cloud infrastructure. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be resolved through good-faith technical negotiation or binding commercial arbitration.
